Soaring
                             
her heart light
she soars with the eagles
she heard his voice
She felt his arms around her
she felt his love
she soars with the eagles
she feels renewed strength in her wings
power she has drawn from him
she lites and surveys her space
breathes a sigh of relief
and returns to flight
she soars with the eagles

Trust

She wonders what she will find if
she looks up Trust in the dictionary
could she find something that would
describe how she feels about him

She thought at one point she knew what trust was
but, until he held her heart, her soul
her body and her mind in his hands
she did not truly understand
the word trust

She picks up the book
fingers through the pages
She finds the definition full of things that
touch upon her feelings
confidence in
faith;  reliance'
keeping care, custody

She continues down the list
she never thought one word could
be described by so many till she met him
and gave him her submission

Honesty, integrity and justice
to commit
giving him ownership to
administer for another's benefit

She continues to read she thinks the word
trust took on a new meaning when

Tears

She cries silently
He can not hear her cry
He is to far away
The distance in miles
Is nothing compared to the distance in their hearts
There once was pure love and contentment
She wonders now was it ever really there
Have they grown so distant that now they don't even speak the same language
Have the ties that bound their hearts somehow come untied.
She looks deep in her heart
She feels the same now as she did last he touched her
But now when she looks in to the future she doesn't see him
She just sees a shadow as he walks away in silence
Her tears hot on her cheek
Her heart torn into shreds
Her love deemed unworthy
Her world came to an end
